Modern whole-house remodel in Golden Gate Heights, San Francisco. North Bay Construction opened up this single-family home into one bright, open-plan kitchen and living space, then remodeled the bathrooms and bedrooms and installed all-new lighting, all within the existing footprint. Custom millwork from our in-house trim and cabinetry shop runs throughout, and a bold wallpapered bathroom gives the home its standout color moment. The folding steel-and-glass door to the rear deck transformed the back of the house. Karen Andersen of Libby Art Architecture served as senior architect and designer, working closely with homeowners who were deeply involved in every decision.
